John Cunha (Pop Instrumental)

Born in Ílhavo, Portugal on August 14, 1953 and immigrated with his parents to the United States in 1966. Influenced by his father. He formed Top Five, a band that dissolved shortly after shortly afterwards, paving the way to The Capitalist, one of the most famous bands serving the Portuguese-American communities all over New England area as well a couple appearances in the Azores.
After 27 years of activity, this band also came to an end due to a change of life styles among its active members. John, was inactive for a short time. But returned to the music scene recently. In his own studio, he composed, arranged, and recorded four instrumental songs based on some of the music styles performed thru the years. Also is the brother of the music publisher, ‘T J C Communications Publishing BMI. John has been perfecting his craft since a very early age. Something that started out as a hoby now embodied into the artist he is today.
